Offshore Systems Asset Development Including Surveillance and Management
Offshore Systems Asset Development Including Surveillance and Management
8th – 10th February 2012, The Ritz Carlton Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Ensure your offshore systems perform up to your expectations in compliance of codes, reliability and safety.
As hydrocarbon explorations move to deeper waters and more distant locations and with the global financial and economic turbulence still affecting volatile oil prices, operators can now be ensured of their uptime by achieving operational excellence!
For the first time ever conducted in AG Events! This course will thoroughly teach on the fundamentals of the technology and work processes used for designing and constructing various different types of offshore asset developments, surveillance and management.
Exchange expertise and discuss case studies with our trainer, Gary Chapman, Associate and Senior Mentor at Subsurface Consultants & Associates, USA. Chapman whose expertises lies in international and domestic exploration and exploitation, has an extensive background in play and basin studies, geochemical interpretation and drilling operations.
More importantly, Chapman’s knowledge and insight primarily focuses on petroleum resource evaluations to define new business ventures and opportunities, with the use of unconventional resources gained through supervised explorations, development projects, asset evaluations which produces dynamic results as projects are lead from inception to completion!
The training focuses on:
- Offshore facilities and design:
- Types and capabilities of offshore well construction, pipeline, riser and production (surface and subsea) facilities needed for all water depths - Topside facilities:
- Infrastructural design and topside design processes in relations to the ocean environment
- The impact space, loads and forces have on the structural design and global performance of offshore structures and how they influence their cost - Key designs and operational interfaces between major components in offshore systems:
- Design, construction and installation issues associated with fixed or floating platforms
- Project management, construction plans and execution, and post-construction; it’s lifecycle and decommissioning consideration.
