This comprehensive course is catered for professionals in the industry who are involved in bunkering operations, including shipping liners, marine fuel trading and brokering. This 3-day will cover in-depth the understanding of regulations, codes of practice and operational standards to ensure participants the correct quality and quantity of bunkers and being delivered safely and efficiently without compromising the environment. It will cover both the practical operational aspects of the bunker transfer procedure, and the legal or insurance related issues which might arise from disputes or incidents, whilst remaining focused on the practicalities including the economics of the operations.

• Develop economical compliance with ISO Code 13739 – Procedures and Requirements for the transfer of bunkers to vessels involving bunker tankers, IMO Guidelines, ISM Code align of shipboard procedures.
• Understand factors impacting quality and quantity monitoring and control, review of standards with respect to dynamic and static measurement of bulk fuels.
• Apply new insights to Fuel Quality Specifications: ISO 82179, Specifications and Standards, Benefits and Risks of blending, Limitations of storage, co-mingling or blending, and Contamination.
